It seems like this seller's whole business is comprised of printing images on throw blankets. I'm sure it's not licenced, but it's really cool. Can anyone tell me where this image/artwork is from? I may have to pick up one of these blankets to use this Halloween season.
I'm sure you can take that image to Wal-Mart and put it on a throw for cheaper. :D
Love it!!

Actually, I think its about the same price, and they may not allow the image.
Great looking piece!
It's from the cover of a book, but I can't remember the title (although I have it...somewhere).

The artist is the great Bob Larkin.

That's right! I had forgotten. He did some great art for Marvel in the late 70s/early 80s, including one of the best Hulk posters.

I'm having a hard time googling the image. I just can't remember the name of the book.

Thanks for all the info, guys! With Bob Larkin's name, I could find the original artwork.
Also, I had no idea WalMart transfered images to throw blankets. I assume they would need a really high rez image.

They will do low res, but it will look terrible. They put up a warning, but they don't really care since they get paid either way :P
Not looking to pee in that seller's Cheerios (and I hope he/she isn't a member here) but I suspect if not through Walmart than a deal through Walgreens or some other bargain photo to fleece (or Mouse Pad, or Coffee Mug, etc) company. And the size of 50" x 60" is identical to the one I ordered from Walmart for $39.95 plus $1.94 shipping. Selling at $48 isn't much of a mark up but if he sells enough, it adds up. And btw, the low-rez image photo I submitted for my throw featuring my daughter and cat came out great. Can't wait to get my monster throw that's on the way. I'll post pics when it gets here.
Really cool.
Wow, that's nice.
Made a "Whatever Happened To Baby Jane" throw for Nancy from Walmart........this is a crappy pic, but the blanket itself came out great!! Picked "plush", but it really ain't plush. Nice colors though, and well defined pics! Had to submit it a few times to get it past the photo censors (all copyrighted images I'm sure), but we got it!

She sleeps with it every night ;D
Maybe this seller works at a photo center, and thus can get away with it. C:)
Doubt WM cares...
That's a creepy blanket Scatter, very nice...
Scatter- That blanket is to die for! I showed my husband as a hint-hint! I can't believe how cool it is :) You know I love that movie, and I think it came out fantastic!
Wow, cool!
Nicely done, Gary! It came out fantastic!
Great Baby Jane blanket, although the dead rat on the plate would have been a great addition to that montage.

So many scenes, so little space. Sigh.........
